Overview

Fyrsale ("we," "us") operates fyrsale.com, a daily-deal storefront with referrals and optional drop alerts. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. By using the site or creating an account, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use Fyrsale, we may collect: your email address; account credentials if you sign up with email and password; basic profile information from a social sign-in provider (such as your name, email, and profile photo when you choose Google or another supported provider); referral codes and referral activity; order and checkout details processed through our payment partner; browser push subscription data if you opt into drop alerts; and aggregate usage data such as pages viewed and device type.

Sign-in & third-party authentication

If you choose Continue with Google or another supported provider, that service authenticates you and shares limited account information with us so we can create and maintain your Fyrsale session. We do not receive your Google password. You can review Google's privacy practices at policies.google.com/privacy. We use Supabase to manage authenticated sessions securely.

How we use information

We use your information to operate the site, process purchases, attribute referrals, send emails or push alerts you request, prevent fraud and abuse, and improve the experience. We do not sell your personal information to advertisers or data brokers.

Payments

Checkout is processed by Square. Payment card details are sent directly to Square and are not stored on our servers. Square handles card data according to its own privacy policy and PCI requirements.

Push notifications

Drop alerts are sent only after you explicitly grant browser permission. You can revoke permission at any time in your browser or device settings; we stop sending once a subscription is removed.

Cookies & local storage

We use cookies and local storage for essential functions such as keeping you signed in, remembering referral attribution, and storing your referral link in the browser. These are functional, not used for third-party advertising profiles.

Service providers

We rely on trusted providers to run Fyrsale, including hosting (Vercel), database and authentication (Supabase), payments (Square), and email delivery when applicable. They process data on our behalf under contractual safeguards and only as needed to provide the service.

Retention & deletion

We keep account and order-related information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with law, and resolve disputes. You may request deletion of your personal data by contacting us; we will remove or anonymize it unless we must retain it for legal or legitimate business reasons.

Children

Fyrsale is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the Last updated date above. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
